    Without a collar or barb for chenille body jigs. Personally I use the same no collar/barb jigs for kiptail jigs that I use for the chenille body jigs. For bucktails (3/8th oz - 1 oz.) I use collared jigheads because they keep the profile you want and help flare the hair out.

    The only time you want a jig with a collar is when fishing soft plastics.
