The initial cash outlay for tying tools can get expensive. Here are a few home build and substitute tools that will save some money and keep your costs down.

From left to right: Whip Finisher, Half Hitchers,Bodkins, Flux Brush, Hackle Pliers, Nails and a Bobbin Threader.

1. The whip finisher is made from .035 SS wire.
2. The half hitchers are from ball point pens.
3.The bodkins are from SS wire .o25 to .045,
4.The flux brush is trimmed short and used to clean out powder paint from jig hook eyed and tease hair bodies.
5. The hackle pliers is a EZE ball use on test leads.
6.The nails along with the bodkins are use for painting on eyes.
7.The bobbins threader is made from .010 SS wire. Name:  IMG_2139.JPG
