    Use red thread on the hook shank or small red chenille and it gives a cool bleeding skeleton look

    Yeah, I added some Crystal flesh wrapped around the body before adding UV glue. Came out pretty well.

    I've had some mylar tubing for a long time but I've only tried it on a few jigs. I've decided to give it another try. Possibilities?

    Yeah, SR, it should catch something, not sure what though.

    This is a high flash material and might be better for stained water, but I'll give a couple a tests to see how it does in other conditions.

    With a little patience it can be flattened out and shaped into a pretty good minnow imitation. Adding flexible material at the end should make it more lively looking in the water.
    It's taking a lot of trial and error to get something that might work well, but it's an interesting project.
    Might as well keep at it for a while and see what works out!
