Been through a many of the Hurricanes. Last one was Katrina. I was an Electrican in those days. Those were some long hours putting services back on houses so the line crews would hook then back up when they came into the area. Three meals a day of whatever you had stocked into the service truck in cans. Sure ate a lot of tuna. Stayed out preparing for the storm until the winds reached 60 mph and they closed the roads. When the winds dropped back below 60 I was back on the road again repairing services and hooking up generators. The day after the Hurricanes blew through the misquitoes would eat you alive.
