    Dave,,if you’ve never tried them. It’s a definite must! Guys on the Big 4 here used them for years and caught massive amounts of fish,,,,Donny used to sell them here as well as Meatgetter folks from Arkansas,,,,but regardless,,,,They catch fish and Easy to make,,,,,best thing is that you can make them with your favorite colors and materials,,,,I use bucktail on most of mine,,,, but I also used flash and rubber legs like spinner baits….add eyes or not and throw in some sparkle on the head thread. It’s all good! I look forward to hearing your results brother…

    I believe these smaller gnats are built with #4 sickle and did larger with either #1 or #2 sickles…

    Hmm if I was to get some lead wrap/wire then could add a tiny amount of weight easily and then tie like normal. I’m going to do micro versions and try under a split shot.

    Most use the double jig setup with bell sinker dragging bottom…
