What size hook are you using Takeum?

Hmm if I was to get some lead wrap/wire then could add a tiny amount of weight easily and then tie like normal. I’m going to do micro versions and try under a split shot.

I believe these smaller gnats are built with #4 sickle and did larger with either #1 or #2 sickles…

Most use the double jig setup with bell sinker dragging bottom…

I tied some a few years ago and they should work several ways I would think.

Are you making the head out of thread and epoxy? Looks great. I may try tying some up in different sizes.
