I spent a little time working the grommet pliers jaws down to make alignment of the two mating surfaces to be parallel with each other. It was very close! Close enuf, that I made up some 1/16 & 1/32. I painted them. I put eyes on a 1/16 & 1/32. Then, I put a coat of UV resin on them. But again, I was fighting with the short handles. So, I got a pair of Vice Grips and put them into use to help with the compressing of the round ball jigs. The vice grips can be set to a certain compression that stays consistent with each jig.
