If you watch all the livescope videos, hardly any of the fishing gurus use much action with their jigs. They dead stick them, both plastic and hair jigs.
A famous guide once related that a fellow wanted a trip with him to learn to fish with jigs. He said he never caught anything on jigs.
The guide asked him to demonstrate his jigging technique, which was a lot of action like in the video above.
Tha guide asked him to then demonstrate his minnow technique, and it was basically deadsticking.
The guide told him to use the minnow technique on his jigs. And he told him he had just saved him $300.
The moral to the long story above being, aggressive fish will bite anything. To get the others, with or without livescope, subtitle is better. Taylor your material to the finer movements.
