That's nice I see they are tied in at the hook bend but i cant tell on the eye ...couple wraps and whip finish?

Should work on any size just may have use smaller pound test

I had a bumble bee deer hair fly that is tied with one mono loop and it did very well for a lot of years. I finally hung it on a Lilly pad that I couldn’t get to and lost it. Fooling with those you’ll find what works best for what you use.

And that's pretty weedless? I have been doing a single mono 30# trying to be weedless while not making it hard for the fish mouth to deflect it. Interesting way... I will try that !

Here are a couple of bead head flies from several years ago with the mono double weedguard. Fished it a long time under a weighted float and caught crappie on it Still have it..
