SK's jig box video is absolutely great.I have been working on SK's jig box info lately and have a couple comments.
The 3/4x1/2 weatherproof closed cell rubber has the ability to shrink big time after the superglue is applied and allowed to dry overnight. Actually had a couple strips shrink over an inch.To get around the shrinking problem I have been cutting strips over an extra length.Once they dry then I can cut them to length to fill the jig box edge to edge.
The next topic SK does talk about in his video is to design a layout for you strips that fits your needs.....
I also used a dremel tool to rough up the box surface which SK also mentioned.
SK's jig box build is actually two videos.One is your material list and the second one is the video listed above showing how he builds the boxes.
SK is my hero for his good ideas.

I have built 4 boxes now to finally get the last one's layout and the rubber edge-to-edge the way I am happy with it.
Plan to make a few more.

In your post you said you were using superglue. Why did you use this instead of the clear gorilla glue?
I've not heard anyone speak of their foam strips shrinking. Perhaps that is the cause.
Did you also use the same weatherproofing specified by SK?
Have my strips already cut and ready to glue up this weekend.
