Daville 210 I have all the colors. Use a lot of red, followed by white and yellow chart. The blue I use the least.
4# mono works
So how do you put 4# mono on a spool?Sent from my Pixel 3 using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
You just trap the thread and wrap it on.
By hand and the same way they put thread on there to start with, but not sure I would go to 4# line. My auto bobbin requires that I put the thread on the spools that come with the bobbin. I probably have 15 spools for it and different colors on each and some with mono. I don't use my aunt bobbin as much as I should and there are some ties I use to do that the auto bobbins helps a great deal. It's great if you want to wrap something on that was tied in and hanging off the back. I can take the thread and hang it off the post that came with my Nor-Vise and I can spin the jaw without adding thread to the shank, then when I am ready I can take the bobbin off the post and let it self retract back to the tie to finish.
Oh and my auto bobbin setup came with a spool that I can attach to an electric drill and let it do my wrapping. Only takes a short time to do.

Have any of you guys tried The GSP threads for hair jigs ?? I just tied up some small #14 jigs with 12/0 Nano silk Some strong stuff .. Just remember when you use these type of thread its better to cut them with a razor blade or one side of your scissors like a knife.. It also lays super flat ...
