I tied on a starter vise for years and I knew having a rotary feature was a must have for me. It simply makes tying jigs easier in my book. The Danvise is a good vise. I have tied alot of jigs on mines and they look no better or worse than the ones I tie on the Renzetti. Both will last me lifetime so it comes down to aesthetics. One is stainless and brass while the other is plastic and metal. They both work great.
