    Exactly and yes. Also - pull on the swivel when you're doing the figure 8. Haven't had any problems with the jigs tracking straight.

    I use my Regal and some jeweler's pliers to open the rings a little more, hang jig/blade, and close it up. Can even do it one handed - LOL....

    It's a great pattern for the fish out here - get some very nice panfish with it.

    Right, pulling on the swivel was a no brainer. They shift around if you don't. I have to work this Saturday but may get a little time Sunday. As many 'gills as I've been getting I'm sure they'll get after this. Another fish I caught this past weekend was a Warmouth that I could have dropped a 50 cent piece in his mouth comfortably. I seldom find them out roaming but get near some wood and it's on. I have some yarn that I also want to try for body material but it's a brighter color. Maybe orange, don't remember. I know I have some Chartreuse, we'll see. Thanks for sharing all this with me.
