    Default Thanks Sonny

Finally knocked the dust off of the tying bench, AND remembered that I had something to do. 1/32 and a bigger hook than I had planned but with everyone still asleep I had to use what I had in the bench. Tiny thread necks later today, maybe. Really like the look, can't thank you enough......Tim

Yes, it's an attached spinner. Ledhed inspired me to get that one done, and was kind enough to share the sizes of parts needed. I tie a little bit of a thread bed behind the head, slide the swivel on, then figure 8 with the thread to lock it in. Be careful not to have the swivel on the bottom side when you shoot the juice to it to lock it all in when you're done or it could get inside and hinder the swivel. Trolling was below poor today and with no movement I didn't tie it on. Next trip out I'm leaving the big trolling rods home and bringing the light stuff to accommodate the little's. I'm sure that there will be pics when that trip is done. Dipped into some real grabby stuff today and got the hit I expected, but what was on the end of the line was totally unexpected. A red eared sunfish that pushed the scale to a pound even came out of the stuff and made the drag slip as I tried to get him over the gunnel. Pics taken and released, biggest ever in my memory. I want some more of that!! Thanks for all the good words folks, really appreciate it.

    excellent work Tim

I like to "oval" the ring, on the swivel, before lashing it down

You find the butt rings easier than split rings?

    I haven't lost a blade yet....

So you smish it down to make it a touch longer and help it clear the body, if I understand you? Probably centers it on the hook a little better. Makes sense to me. And yes, the butt rings are easy and will be even easier when I get my little needle nose dug out. I'll find lots of stuff when I find somewhere. And lastly, Thank You for the compliment on my work. I know you've seen a few.
