Flashabou comes in at least 2 sises. Perhaps even more. Also spooled mylar is made to wrap around a hook such as when tying a streamer and not to be tied as flash for the length of the jig or fly. Christmas tree tinsel is currently mylar and can work for what you need if the color and size is correct.
