    Default Jig pattern help

Picked up some slotted tungsten beads yesterday and the only colors they had were copper and orange. I have quite a bit of different tail materials and body colors and was wondering what body and tail color you would use with those colored beads? I fish mostly clear water but just wanting some color combos you think would work. Thanks in advance!

I would think it would look fine with whatever colors you want. I shoot docks a lot and bet the paint off the heads and they still work fine.

Think that copper one should go well with a Blue Body or Black and a Chart tail, I do like Silver Body/FL Blue tail in clear water and also Rainbow body and Blue tail. Another great color is Silver/Blue/White and if you look at it with an Copper head just see if it is okay. The Orange will go with most anything, but I would get some FL Yellow and Black Variegated chenille and you can go Chart, Black, Bright Green, Hot Orange or FL Fire Orange tail, but not really for clear water. For clear water I would just use it with something like maybe Gray body and tail.

Also look at the Copper with Chart Body and FL Blue tail as that is another one I tie with a Silver head and may look good with the Copper head???

Love Gray, FL Blue and White in clear water for a tail or body. BTW if you use Gray for a tail try one V of the several you use, make that one a Black V.

Thanks guys I'll give it a whirl... I have silver and gold beads ordered but those were just picked up to give me something to do... Lol was thinking copper head, amber stone chenille (kind of cinnamon color) and something light blue for tail... Then with orange was thinking squirrel tail but not sure what color chenille... Probably will try some darker bluegill like jigs for the copper some too... I can't wait to get slotted silver beads for some shiner patterns

Over here I have had success with the copper and olive colors in our dingy water.

Hey I have a picture from 6 years ago when I was trying to sell some of the Tungsten Bead head jigs. I should have done a better job with these and added some flash and all that. Also should have used some better chenille than I did on a few. Anyway here is a picture of some I did then.

Also can use Cyclops beads for a lighter weight and here is a picture from back then also using a Cyclops bead and a curved fly hook.
