I only went one day searching for them to get shallow and they have not, but we found a few under a bridge and just used heavier jigs tight lining. Even they had not been there long as they were white as all get out from coming from the really deep water. These are positioning themselves to go to the back of 6 mile for the spawn. I don't fish there much because so many boats trying to fish just a few columns.
