    Default Saltwater Hackle

Where is the best place to buy saltwater hackle online? It seems like I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find it.

I believe but correct me if I am wrong but I think it is thinner than regular neck hackle? Some of the guys that I have seen and talked to that tie use it but I have never thought to ask what the difference is. But to me it looks thinner.

It's what I use and it's not thinner as far as wide and it's longer than regular. Regular neck hackle is 3" to 5" and SW Neck hackle is 4" to 6" and sole even longer at times. The more thin and stiffer hackle would be the Saddle Hackle and it's used more for collars and palmering, but can be used for a tail as well. I like the Salt Water Neck Hackle especially because it wider and I think more webby.
also Hareline's SW Neck Hackle to me is better quality than any other I have tried. That is what both of the links above have. Like I said it's what I have used for 10 years or more now.
