A few years back I found some jigs made with nothing but tinsel and they were HOT HOT HOT HOT!! Well... my son managed to lose my last one this spring. I went on an all out search to find them again... I had absolutely ZERO luck in finding pretty much anything even close. So started my adventure into jig making...

At first I just wanted to make a few like I had, that is when I learned of all the different colors and possibilities. Much to my wife's dismay... I have spent a small fortune on materials and a few tools, however I am now making jigs while sitting in front of the TV in the evenings. I have had so many requests from friends and family that I can't keep up with all the new stuff they are dreaming up... and you know if you are going to make something new for them to try out, you have to make a few to put in your box of tricks as well. I told him I would get back to him. I think I have created a monster here... although I do have to say I enjoy the creativity that tying jigs brings, just not sure I want this to turn into something where it becomes a chore.
