Default Man am I a Slacker!

I just got back from a recent business trip to Florida. Had to drive so I took my tying station and a variety of materials with me thinking that I would spend any free evenings in front of my vise. Over an 11 day trip I managed to only tie a dozen jigs for a buddy to use for perchin. I feel horrible! I had plans to tie over 100 jigs in my off time ! When I unloaded my gear, it hasn't been looked at and its been a week! I'm in a funk and need some prodding! Lol I know it's spring and the slabs are biting but I just can't motivate myself right now. I need help getting re- booted. Any ideas?

Fish with the few you have and when you get bit it'll motivate you. I'm the same way. I just don't enjoy tying like I used to. I've done n tried every style and jig pattern I've seen. Even come up with some things I haven't seen that works really good. BUT there's always those few jigs you'll rely on 95% of the time. It comes to a point where nothing but getting new materials I don't have excites me. That's a problem, to me, bc it's just for whooos and ahhhhs and my money is not expendable.
So I just tie the same few jigs over and over and catch fish.
Tie what works for you and catch fish on em. That's what works for me as far as inspiration.

Buy some new materials or something to try and re-light the fire.
