    Default 1/48oz road runners

Have any of you ever made any 1/48oz pony heads. I bought a mold that has a cavity for 1/48. Curious how you like them. I just noticed my thread title says road runner I should have put pony/horse head. If that needs change I understand.

they are tiny!!LOL the 1/0 german split rings from hagens work okay on them but I'm looking at getting some really small jump rings to try. The biggest problem is getting good really SMALL blades for them - go too big and they don't run right.

I usually use them under a float or slip bobber and do a short pull and let it flutter and spin till it gets back under the float and then do it again. You have to go sparse on tying them.

Personally I don't see a need for smaller than 1/32 as you can fish them really slow as is. Of course I don't use any size but e 1/32 so I am a bit prejudice about this, LOL!

I agree Skip. I thought it was strange that the mold had one that small.
