    Default Thread for tying Threadnecks?

Do you use any other thread other than 210 denier to tie threadnecks? I am using 210 denier but cannot get it to whip finish right. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't have any problem whip finishing 210. What kind of problem are you having?

I whip finish mine with 5 wraps always unless using smaller thread and then maybe 4, but I know I can chinch it down just enough because if it breaks it will not hold at all as the knot doesn't take like it will when using chenille. When tying chenille it if breaks when tightening it for some reason it still hold good. Just be careful how hard you cinch it down and never let it break. I also always use a flex glue to completely cover a thread neck thread unlike when I am tying chenille I use thinned glue I make and it never leaves a hard spot where I place it!
