I have been using one for a pretty long time now for about 6 years and love it. I sell Peak and I also have Renzetti Saltwater Traveler, but I use my Nor all the time. The down side is cost and if you end up not liking the straight jaw that comes with it then your option is the fine point jaw and that is another $85 to $95 for it. I have several different jaws and have ended up mixing she counter weight from the large straight jaw and the small straight jaw as my favorite. The fine point if especially made for tying tails on because the straight jaw does take some getting use to when tying tails. I mean lots of flies don't really have a tail so then they don't need other than a straight jaw.
It depends on why you want one actually and how you want to use it and these will say if it's worth it for you or not. I like it because I can spin it to do my thread base for the most part and my shoulder is shot so that helps me a good bit. Originally when I bought it the biggest reason I wanted it was the easy way you can use dubbing with it over a normal vise. However I have even changed how I do dubbing (now use Rope Dub Method) to use a different method and now my Nor doesn't have a huge advantage for me now for that. I still love it though!
