Thanks for the information Gentlmen! I have been using my gas stove in the kitchen, however it is really a waste, think I will try one of those alcohol burners.

For me it's by far the best way. I have been using the same one for 10 years now. I just got the new one last year because I finally broke the lid parts on the old one when stuck on. I messed it up when I first got it, but it lasted still 9 years. Also no soot with alcohol.
