After all that is said and done with the sickle hook issues...too bad We couldn't come up with our own line of wire hooks with a wide gap? owner has one...not light wire and too big...VMC has one the barbarian...don't make in the sizes WE need...so lets just form our own company make our own hooks market them all over the world...Yeah baby! we could corner the crappie market...the perch market...other pan fish markets....now we need a money man, a manufacturing co. a marketing dept. distribution vehicle, what have I left out?Oh I just want to sweep the floors...so I can have time to field test...since its my idea I am appointing me head of field testing...and I can put anyone on my staff I want!!!LOL any takers??? for field testing??? later LB ( Dept. head of field testing)...(Crappie.com hooks)

You should contact Eagle claw or Yamaguchi I'm sure there is a manufacturer that would listen if they want to I can't figure out why the other ones didn't follow suit those sickle hook is probably the sharpest hook I have ever used in I do swear by it for building my jigs but we also carry a full line of Eagle claw of course the round type but I'm sure that the other manufacturers have taken a big look at this already I don't know if the sickle is patented could be a problem but they only have to change the band of the hook to make a wider gap I don't think there would be a problem there and I'm sure that they are working on this so don't be surprised in the future if you see something on the market similar to the sickle.
