Well I am surprised!!! I got not only a box of 1000 replacment hooks but they sent me another box for all the trouble. As they just came in today I haven't had a chance to test them - was out fishing with the grand daughter till the storms rolled in.

I'm glad you got your hooks Doug, hope they are better than the last batch. I had problems with #8 black nickle sickles where the top of the hook eye had a rough spot, looked like they weren't formed right. I was concerned about the rough spot being on top of the hook eye since I use light line and I'm thinking it would wear on the line eventually cutting it. I talked with Don 38 days ago and he said he wanted to see them and that he would replace them. He gave me his FED EX NUMBER and I sent them back the day after. It's been 37 days and I havn't heard a thing.

I guess it's time to make more calls and find out what's up. I put delivery confirmation on them and know they got there.

Ok spent 4 hrs. today testing the 2 new box's of hooks and not a single bad one. Since I was doing it I went through the bad box and came up with 250 good ones, the rest broke.

I put them in the vise and took some 10 lb. test line and snapped up and snapped down on it. I can finally start pouring some size 4 redmans, and some ball head no collars.

If you have bad hooks use the contact info and don't let up!!!!!!!!

Doug sounds like they have the problems ironed out. I still have a box or so of the old style. Think that I will just put them back and hand temper them later. and yes for all of your work the squeeky wheel got the grease. Which means easy sailing for the rest of us. Hats off my Friend.
