That is a great looking Mayfly. It should do really well once you get thru tweaking it into the final product. The ones I got to look at most were in Northern Ohio near Camp Perry. They were littered on the ground under a street light several inches thick, I guess they died flying around the light at night. The bodies were tan/brown in color and the wings were a dull white. Talking to a local they said that about anything with big white wings tied to it would do very well. With the #8 and the palmered collar and a light head it should sink slow and really hammer the gills. I caught a hatch once in FL and for 3 days I could do no wrong, 4th day it was all over. I caught more gills in those 3 days than any other time before or since. Real nice stuff, as always.
