Thanks to both Stump Hunter and you redear!
I have some pale ones, but right at this minute I don't remember if its cream or yellow. Have been looking at fly tying patters out there to help me get more ideas and see what all colors and stages the Mayfly and a few others. I am pretty sure someone told me a story about some crappie being caught and them having a belly full of I think Mayflys.

Stump thanks for posting that - it showed better in a pic that what I tried to explain.
what materials were used to make that beautiful jig.
Thread, pre-made Mayfly body and hackle I got from Whiting Farms in some of what they call Bugger Packs.
That is a great looking Mayfly. It should do really well once you get thru tweaking it into the final product. The ones I got to look at most were in Northern Ohio near Camp Perry. They were littered on the ground under a street light several inches thick, I guess they died flying around the light at night. The bodies were tan/brown in color and the wings were a dull white. Talking to a local they said that about anything with big white wings tied to it would do very well. With the #8 and the palmered collar and a light head it should sink slow and really hammer the gills. I caught a hatch once in FL and for 3 days I could do no wrong, 4th day it was all over. I caught more gills in those 3 days than any other time before or since. Real nice stuff, as always.
