    Default hello everyone

Hello everyone. I used to post my fair share of time on here for awhile. Things kinda got hectic and got away from here for awhile. my number one addiction (ice fishing) took alot of my time this winter. when I was on here last I was assembling my fluid. got that done and have painted some heads that i am happy with. Now on with the tying. I am about to place an order for supplies. I was on crazy angler's website and noticed something called buggy nymph yarn. What exactly is this and can you wrap it on a jig like you can with chenille? If not how would you use it, because it would work great with some of the natural colored jig ideas that I have for bluegill this summer

I'm pretty new here so I have no answers for you. Just hopping on to say Welcome Back.

From what I've seen on youtube about tying, buggy nymph yarn is used a lot in fly-tying, but never seen it used in jigs.

thank you for the insight. hopefully someone else may have some ideas for me as well. These colors are too good to not try and make it work for something.

I have some of that, and I got him to get me some more and I believe that is when he started caring it. Let me see, it's pretty thin and has pieces that stick up kind of all over that makes it look a lot like dubbing (fuzzy type) so to help make it kind of look like dubbing without doing any dubbing. Let me see if I can find a picture. Best on little jigs, say 1/32 and smaller.

Here is a picture of it and if you look up Wapsi web page you may be able to find a better picture of it.

I agree with mncrappie that those colors look good. Does anyone have a jig tied with it? Would love to see a pic
