    Default Still kickin!!!

Hey gang!!! Still kicking, but lots of damage in town and around the whole state. Lot's of folks cut off with all the roads gone. They had 30 state highway bridges closed and 260 state/town roads closed off.

They've been delivering supplies by Guard helicopters from out of state, as our guys are over in Afganistan.

I'll get on when I can so keep up the posts.

Fatman, Prayers are sent your way. Let us know if we can help, other than donating to the Red Cross or the likes.

Fatman Glad to hear that you are okay. Hopefully things will be back to normal very shortly. Know what those canes are like. We have been hit with three in Six years. Hope that we don't see another for a year or two.

Keep us informed and stay safe.

Glad to hear you're OK and hangin tight. My Dad's cousin lived in Prattsville, NY and I heard of them in the news today for the first time in many years. The Pratt river rose and caused a big problem. Keep us posted, we're all thinkin of ya.

Them storms can be really bad and you guys didn't get a real strong one, but I know with all the mountains that rain is really bad news as it turns small streams into raging rivers and take everything with it. The water can be worse that a strong wind blower however both are or can be really bad. Here and South of me got both kinds a few years back and no fun at all.

Prayer for all up there for sure.

Now that would actually be welcome unless it's one of them Cat 3-5 storms. We are to the point of praying for a tropical system for the rain. Of course a lot of texas is better suited to being able to handle a 10" rain where some states a 10" rain would be really horrible. Here it would just help the lakes as all of the Texas lakes are way down and the ground is so bad due to no rain or the drought that has been on for almost 2 years now.
