Default Thinking of getting into making my own, but...

Where can I get the molds for roadrunner jig heads? I am going to end up buying a melting pot and all the tools, but only if I can get the mold for the RR as I really like them.

    Thanks

You can buy a mold for the Pony heads and make them for your self. You just can't sell them without huge risk as Blakemore owns the Trademark for that design and no one can sell them except Blakemore. If you want to sell them you have to buy them from Blakemore, but for one self the Pony head mold is there.

Thanks a lot. And yeah, I only want to make them for myself. Where is the best deal to buy everything else I need? LOL...i know, kind of a loaded question.

Worth has great stuff but when I restocked a year ago, after running low on everything to make them I went through Hagens.

    1000 crane swivels
    Colorado Nickle Size 0
    Colorado Pol Brass Size 0
    Indianna nickle size 0
    Indianna pol brass size 0
    Size 0 split rings

    cost me $104 plus shipping

I did a spreadsheet with Janns, Barlows, Lakeland, Worth, Hagens and Chuck and Debs. If you add more blades it'll run you higher but the blades here are what I needed. Everything else I had, I use the parts for other things besides ponys/rr's.

Depends on how fancy you want to get with the pot. You can get bottom pours, or a cast iron pot with a ladle. Molds you can get through Janns, barlows, Zeiners, cabela's, BPS or straight from Do-It. Some have bought bottom pours off ebay or reloading sites.

Check around and get the best price you can.
