Default I get lots a request for further information

lots of people lots of site are wondering where I buy my feathers. Mostly I buy them by the pound and I'm sure that most of you were not going to want to buy a pound of feathers so I suggest that you do the following contact crazy angler or contact any body else that sells feather products on the line here or on the site also you may look under craft supplies online or remote leaf where you live. For small amount. It's of marabou and other feathers that you may want to use. Also good online and look under feathers also feather products if you are looking for hackle look under hackle very simple and you will find all the feathers of the world that you could imagine are out there. If you are looking for Chanel also try crazy angler and other people on the site. Also you can contact them for Chanel, if you're going to be doing a zillion jigs. It is simple information him altogether do is put in your search box and you will more than be happy for hours of looking at feathers and other products tried many of your fly shops online. I believe that there's a host of them fly tying shops are scattered throughout the US also go online and look up fly tying supplies are shops . There are a couple main companies that I buy from I buy from zucker feather products in the other is Swan and son.

I have ordered in the past from Zucker's. My experiance is that sometimes the shades were way off color. Sometimes it was like a crap shoot. May be they have gotten better as it was 10 years or so ago that I did any business with them. Crazy Angler is using Wapsi feathers and the colors are as uniform today as they will two years from now. May pay a little more but you will get what you pay for. Fair warning a pound of feathers will tie a lot and I mean a lot of jigs. You had better be a commercial tier to handle that many feathers. Just my experiance.

mainly I buy my feathers white and die them myself . Many other companies that buy feathers and resell them. Maybe buying from several different outfits. So if they're asking for a Pacific color . It may very depending on who they are get in there feathers from yes be careful buying a pound of feathers a pound of feathers will apply one hell of a lot of jigs. I suggest if you are going to buy a pound that you get several people involved . Even with four people that you split it you will still have a ton of jigs .

Snake I found out that one the hard way. I have always bought in bulk and that was one of my many mistakes. One of my better buys were the 500 packages of peacock swords that came four to the package at $.07 a Package. Any takers a $2.00 a pack and yes they are matched. LoLs I still am sitting on some material that my wife or kids will have to burn after I am gone. Its just that ugle why I bought some of it I will never know. Any body need a skein of washed out shell pink Large chenille It will go cheap. Other Mistakes to numberious to mention.
