    Default Dr. Slicks Scissors

I just ordered a pair of Dr. Slicks Scissors. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I bought my first pair less than a month ago, and I really like them! Very sharp.
Before these, I used cheap embroidery scissors from Michaels. They were like 5-7 bucks a pair, but I could wear a pair out in a few months.
If the Slicks are 20 bucks but last two or three years, are they worth it? Absolutely.

I've found that when it comes to tying jigs and flies, "you get what you pay for" generally applies. Think of the time you're gonna spend using your equipment. If I'm gonna be using my scissors an average of 6-7 hours a week, is 15-20 dollars really THAT much of an investment? You could go to a movie that lasts 2 hours and spend that.

    That's my 2 cents!

Slick's makes good tools and includes scissors. You can spend more on some, but not really that much better. I have a few Anvil scissors which are also very good, but cost more. I have one pair of Slicks and would buy them again.
