Awsome!! What ratio of clear to color are you using? Or are you just covering the color with clear with some glitter in it?

The very top one (jighead pic)is just clear with glitter over a bare jighead. I did do 10-1 with junebug (middle right, lower left) the others are cleared over a base color. the middle left was dipped 3 times(each dip the glitter intensifies) in the 10 clear to 1 junebug so it darkened up some. This high gloss clear really shines.......

    Default Orbittx Paint Review

Finally found time to sample each of the colors to see exactly what they looked like on some jig heads. The first was Copper Vein. It looked blah at first. Then added higher heat and it really set up nice. It took the higher heat to really make it vein nice. I did the same to the hammer colors and I am very pleased with all 3 specialty colors we received. All the colors were easy to work with and produced a high glossy finish. The paint seemed to melt well and did not want to catch fire like some powder paints I have used. Found a variety pack of glitter for $3 at Hobby Lobby. Now, I'm searching for some storage containers and thinking a fluid bed may be in my near future. I have a 110-V aerator, so the rest may be a few fittings, PVC and tubing. I would recommend Orbittx powder paint for those who want to have a variety of colors and not spend a king’s ransom for it. My hats off to Orbittx!

PS: Final estimated cost was .85 per ounce or $1.70 for a 2-oz jar, which included tax and one way freight (compare that to $6.99/2-oz paint Pro-Tec Powder Paints for Lures or Jigs). Granted we had the convience and cost savings of Roger picking it up at the factory. (4-oz. of 16 different colors plus 1-lb of clear)

And don't forget this online color mixing palette ---> Online Color Mixing Palette for Painters

I guess you cant't teach a old dog new tricks. I'm having a hard time figuering out how to best use the clear. What difference is there in a full paint head and one done with a 10-1 mix? Are you suspending the flake in the clear? What advantage is there instead of just doing a dush of flake at the end? Your talking 3 or 4 coats, are you re-heating the head each time? If you do a 3 color mis, why should I add clear to it? More question to follow I'm sure.

Got back home from fishing and verified that Toby's clear powder is not in my order. Now we need to figure out who received a bonus bag of clear without paying for it? Please don't cheat the Reverend !!!!
