First I want to introduce myself. I'm an avid flyfisherman. I've been tying flies and building rods for several years. I'm just now starting to get into tying jigs. Since I tie flies, I already have a more than sufficient supply of materials to tie jigs.

Now with that said, what is your favorite jig style/material for float and fly rigging? I think wood duck/mallard flank would work well, but I'm curious to see what others use. Also what is your favorite size/weight jig head to tie them on?
