    Default In-Line Spinner

I was going to try to make some musky spinners for myself and father and was wanting to ask if any one can answer. I was going with 051 wire does this seem to much for what I am doing.

No that seems good, from what I've seen. Heck I've seen some guys who made custom spinners from bike spokes!!! Those got to be way more than .051. Biggest wire I've used for spinners is .026 which is about the same as Mepps.

No problem, there's a bunch of guys over at TackleUnderground.com in the wire section who make Musky Spinners and they have some nice ones, They could give you a good read on the wire diameter, but .051 sounds good.
