I've already been looking at storage systems and tying desks. Oasis has a cool small one that has a pedestal in it. Just right to take on the road with me when we go to the kid's house in Pensacola. oops...I'm already thinking of takeing it all with me. I think I may have the sickness.

Good job on your first ones. Now you just gotta figure out how to get more stuff in the house without the boss seeing it LOL

    Welcome to the addiction

It seems to be fine so far. I did however, buy a ceramic bobbin as I heard the one in the kit is prone to cut thread. I got the jig kit (there are several...jig, trout, saltwater, and bass) and I think the video that came with it was very good. It was the first time I ever tied a jig, fly, or any lure and I just watched the video and followed along. Monkey see...monkey do. It shows several variations of the basic jig.

You will like the ceramic bobbins. I learned that from Skip many years ago. I used to have to buy one every year however since I got the ceramic one my ties have been neater and the thread does not catch.

Don't know, it was on there when it came out of the box. The sheet on the vise doesn't mention it either. Got to be to hold something in the tying process.
