I have spent the last couple of hours going through the tabs and accidentally found the list of suppliers. I think one of the confusing things to new people is that on the sticky section of this forum is this.

I do not think that anyone would purposely offend the forum vendors, i may start selling supplies here myself. I do not want to jump to conclusions but some statements may indicate double standards.

PBug2009 thanks for the info. I have seen that and wondered what it meant and also wondered what the all the info was beside the aviator. Again it takes time to learn all the features of this forum.

I guess this is a good place to put this post. I just became a sponsor. The tab at the top says MEMBERSHIP, I became a member when I joined. If the tab had said HOW TO BECOME A SPONSOR or SPONSOR INFO I would have checked it out. The tab that says business meant to me that JNC or Bass Pro or others had there links in there. If it had said MEMBERS STORES I would have went there first. I was going through there and when I clicked on one of the stores links I was taken to E Bay. Last it would be nice if there was a way for each members store to have a short list of what they sell listed in their little box. If you want a vise you have to go on a hunt. These are what I see and do not mean to criticize and willing to help working on changes if that is needed. I looked at this forum for a long time before I became a member and the deciding factor way how nice the people seem to be and are not critical to the other members. I am willing to help this forum in any way. Thanks to you all.

Crazy Angler has the fastes shipping I have ever seen. As for materials he has a great selection from wapsi and his large bucktails are just that large bucktails. His powder paint is good also, I have ordered from him several times with no complaints what so ever. Crazy Angler Your here look no more for Slab Bandits the best if you give him your business I dont think you would be sorry. I also like his cactus chenilles. Last order I made I called him to ask if I placed it that morning and that was on a wed. if I went with the two day shipping would I have it by friday and he said yes well friday came and there it was, that night I was able to tye with the stuff I needed and was able to supply some buddies with the jigs they needed for a trip they took.

Takes a lot more than a tax permit, you have to have a bricks and mortar store front selling fly tying materials or you can't buy from them. Beleve me I know they will not let any tyer buy from them even a commercial tyer like me.

I have tried to buy from them in the past I did not have any luck. I even sent them references from other companies, but they did not pay it any mind. If you do not have a tax or a federal excise tax number, forget it. They won't even talk to you . You are exactly right. Skip on this one.

those slab bandits are really awesome looking Bob has done a great job with this plastic bait. I commend him and he is doing terrific with it. If you guys get a chance to try out this plastic bait please do so.
