If you have a tax permit Wapsi Fly in Mountain Home Arkansas is good for about anything you want. Short's Hook Sales also in Arkansas is about as good as it gets for hooks generally speaking.

Takes a lot more than a tax permit, you have to have a bricks and mortar store front selling fly tying materials or you can't buy from them. Beleve me I know they will not let any tyer buy from them even a commercial tyer like me.

I got some new stuff at Kroger. I have only tied one jig so far with it but I really like how it look out of the water. We'll see how it does wet hopefully sooner rather than later.

That said, all serious orders go to Crazy Angler and Pbug for heads and those little spoons he makes that are apparently like fish crack.

I buy about 90% of my stuff from E Bay. If you shop you can get name brand material with free shipping. So far I have been able to get every thing there. Some of the people that sell have full retail stores so you can get a wide variety of material.

Before going off the site and ordering stuff check with us guys that support site and keep it going. As for material and heads, There is Tim at TNT, Robert (flatfish46) at crazy anglers, and me I pour alot of the jigheads for guys on here I have poured just at about 30,000 heads in the last 1-1/2 mths for these guys. Also there is a few more on here also..But just give us guys that sponsor the site a chance before going else where...

I do not know who that comment was for but I am new on this site and do not know who sell what, I have seen other off site vendors mentioned many times and there was no comment telling them to shop here first. The one thing that needs to be done is for people to give links. I have seen people recommending Crazy, why didn't they give a link. New people in here have a hard enough time getting up to speed without having to do time wasting research. I did not know that selling in here was allowed, most sites it is not. Also I did not know what a sponsor was nor how to do it. All of this information should be in a sticky for the new member.

That is a good point tosser. A sponsor page with their links would be a nice addition.

Pbug, you might want to run that idea up the pole and see if it gets any traction.
