    Looks like powder paint but that is a guess.

    In my own igonrance, what is a Bead&pin? I assume it is a rod tied into the hook with a bead on it like we do for some steelhead jigs but have to ask how y'all do it.
    I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

    I got the information for the bead-n-pin jigs from another site and basically these are the materials that I used..........
    6mm non-magnetic jewelry beads
    1-1/4" straight pins cut to size
    #6 sickle jig hook

    Len, my inbox was full, is open now. And I do like them, is almost the same way a friend of mine makes them. I will have to try that here, someting has to work on these stubborn crappie in my area.

    Are those brass beads solid, if so about what is the weight of them, and what colors have you tried.
    Would you mind saying where you get the beads. thanks

    These are the beads I use and not sure what they weigh but will find out. I use the FL. Pink and Fl. Chartreuse.
