Make an 1/8oz with #4 sickles and 4 or 3mm recessed eyes in a pill or round head?
And willing to email me a picture?

Sorry Adam I cast that size in a round but not with the recessed eyes. As every one says talk to Grousefly. He's got every thing.

I am sure someone on this form can modify an aspirin head jig mold to do what you need.

Hey Adam, I order the 1/8 round heads from chuckanddebs with #4 sickles and mash the heads with some pliers to make a pill head. I then put 4mm eyes on them and top coat with Hard As Nails.

This thread has got me thinking about moldifying head and not the molds. Yes Pbug I could do that I pour the size that he wants just don't have the recessed eyes but am thinking.

Use a punch, it'll form those recessed eyes quickly. Just take your time and tap softly at first, after you've done a few it'll only take 1-2 hits. JB Weld some "eyes" into the mold and when your done, scrap it out. My question is "why such a small hook"?

I use a round head also. After you mash a few 1000 you will get good at it, LOL. I use a 3mm on all my jigs and they glue great to the heads. I clear coat after the eyes are put on the head.

The jigs we use for fishing crappie in the south tend to be smaller to imitate the small bait fish present. Thus the smaller size hooks. I came from the north and know what you mean. But down here in the cypress swamps and lakes that have alot of cypress trees it works for us. I has something to do also with not getting tangled up in the brushtops that we often have to fish.
