I wish I could give you lots of good advice, but I am not anywhere near the craftsman that you will find on here. I did tie up some bream flies to give my sons for Christmas. They seemed to like them and I think the bream will too. The two styles that I did for them were the foam spiders (floating) and the Bully Bluegill Spiders (sinking). I need to get busy tying some for myself. Hope to add some different varieties as I go along. Good tying and fishing.

Who ever gifted it may regret it but you will have alot of fun. As far as questions thats what we are all in here for. To help and give opinions on what works and what don't. Read the stickys at the top and DON'T fail to ask questions no matter how stupid they sound. The only stupid question is the one that isn't ask. BTW we don't bite thats for the fish so visit often and welcome.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it. First off, pay attention to proportions and take your time! Anybody can knock out jigs that'll catch 3 or 4 fish and then fall apart... GOOD jigs are durable and somewhat uniform.
