Hey len and azslabber thanks for going to the trouble to post pics, I am going to tye both patterns. It wont be long and down here on the ohio river, the fishing should be picking up and where my dad lives on ky river. I want to try to get a few made for me and dad before the bite picks up. I met a nice fella at our local baitshop and we talked for a little bit and I brought up crappie.com and he never heard of us and he said he would check us out. This is why I told him about the site because of alot of guys like you all will help someone out, all the way from jigs to outboards and lots of other things. Thank you everyone, great site.

Great looking jigs Len and az. I don't even know what a sauger is but I bet he would bite those. LOL We don't grow them in Mississippi. LOL

I used to catch Sauger all the time in Akron Ohio. Anything chartreuse usually got their attention.

x3 on Lens color but another one would be a chartreuse head, red thread and the brown bucktail
