    Default Before they ship

Hunter 7711 was nice enough to share some of his fine jigheads with me a short time back. They're 1/16 and 1/8 and I cant tell the difference but they sure are nice. Then came the call for CKIII's jig swap and I used the best I had. All were different colors so it was a test for me to make each of these 22 look good with the color of the head. I used mostly hackle but mixed things up here and there. They will be in the mail first chance I get and I hope they will fit the bill for what the swap intended. A few really struck my fancy, and I kept a few heads for myself but I just wanted to share them for a minute before they go away. Thanx for looking. God Bless the memory of CKIII here on CDC.

Well I should have stayed in touch a bit better. I didn't know the swap had been postponed til after I posted this. Guess I have some sweet looking jigs to use til the weather drives us indoors. Boy, I feel dumb. It was fun tying these and I surprised myself with a few of them.

Go ahead and fish those. I'll send you some blank heads, and you can create some for the swap. I'm going to start it the first week of January. PM me your address again. I think I just sent you 1/16 oz heads. If you want to try some larger I'll send some of those also.

    Hey Skeetbum,

You should be very proud of your accomplishments. The jigs are awesome.

Sweet. Im partial to the blues but I believe you have the spectrum of water clarity down to a "T" and all beautifully tied. I'm still undecided on the all hackle jigs when it comes to fish, but darned if they don't look pretty and urs much more than mine. Fine job.
Hunter paints unbelievably and that particular mold is top notch.

Just stopped in for a minute, work calls, but was surprised at the response. Thank you , one and all, for the good words. Hunter, 1/16 is fine, and I wont take these for free. Just let me know what you need and I'll get it to you. Like I said, these were for John and he would have given his best for us. MS, the hackle has a different movement in the water than 'bou and these are a bit bigger than I would normally tie, so we'll see.
Thanx again everyone, but I gotta go.
