Late last fall (our type of fall), one of the spots I like to fish, I was catching some nice sacalait and every one was full of a bait fish I had never seen. I'd like to replicate it in jig form, but kicking myself for not ever have taken a photo. And now I can't find a picture anywhere.
It was an oblong minnow rather than stream line and was majority white with very distinctive black stripes running perpendicular to it's body length. Reminded me of a zebra so I always called it a zebra minnow. I'd usually use a bobby garland baby shad in monkey milk color for my best match. Anybody have any idea of what Im talking about?
