Have you guys ever order from barlows tackle and get your order shipped and receave the order short of one thing out of stock, I ordered marabou from them and paid six dollars for shipping, I think they should have gave me a back order. I called and the lady said they refunded the money and I said I know but if I want these pink feathers I would have to pay another six dollars for shipping.

Yes you have to watch that as some will do that if each item is less than their min. for back orders. I don't think they are the only ones that will do that, but not sure. I know that I have been mad at them more than one time, but I have not ordered anything from them for a pretty long time now.

I have ordered from Crazy Angler Tackle with great success. Fast and correct orders to my door each time. The same with Feather Craft. F-C is a fly fishing store and has a ton of stuff to check out. They don't seem to act quite as "big time" as Barlows from what I've seen.

crazy angler isthe only place to order from....i placed a big order with him. and the stuff he didnt have, he paid out of his pocket to send it to me. Robert is the only person I order from....From feathers to hooks, and jighead molds.

I ordered some Saltwater Hackle from Bob Marriott's in about 5 different colors and 2 of them were on backorder. They called me and gave me the option to have them ship it in 2 shipments or wait a week and get it all.

See now thats good costumer service, Barlows had my cell, home phone, and email, no one bothered to ask what I wanted to do, I am pretty sure that will be the last time I order from them.

I wouldn't order from them again. I have ordered from Cabelas and had an order shorted from back orders, they shipped my stuff and then sent the rest when it came in with no extra shipping chrage. Any company that just does it without contact isn't worth my time.

I have never had a problem with either Crazy Angler or Bob Marriott's and both have called me to clear things up at times. Besides I think most items (notice I didn't say all) are less at these two than at Barlow's.
