It has a whole lot of underfur, which is used for dubbing. I think arctic fox is mostly used for a tailing material. Like you said it's very fine, and it looks great!

I tied a jig for a swap on another forum. My question is I tied it with Artic Fox, and the stuff is so fine. It's got to have fantastic action. It's so fine it almost seems like it would be used for dubbing. Is it for tying or some other fly tying use?

I mostly use it for tails on jigs, but like q kid said it can also be used as dubbing. Most hair can be used as dubbing one way or the other. I have a good bit of it in a lot of colors and yes the action is good.
I don't normally mix it with anything and use it as a stand alone tail like marabou. Don't know of much you could mix it with that has as much action as it does.
