After countless hours of frustration trying to figure out how to organize my jigs I've finally decided on the following way. (see photos)
These small boxes 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" Are available from Walmart for .60 each. I then cut a "pool noodle" into wedges and hot glued into box. By labeling the boxes by color and size I think it will cut down on my time to change jigs while on the water. I plan on finding a larger carton to put my six individual boxes. I hope this might help others like me that just got too frustrated with the clutter and mess of jigs in a compartmental box like a Plano.

How are you cutting the noodles? This is going to be a winter project for sure. Way better method than the regular plano boxes.
I like the idea.

Always shoot for the moon, if you miss you'll still be among the stars.
Soswine, it's gonna be a 30 minute project. I found some of the foam(polyethylene) used in packaging and got busy cutting. The stuff is free so who cares about mistakes. I had 2 done in no time. Hot glue them to hold in place after dry fitting and trying a couple of options. I also found a couple of Scientific angler boxes built the same way for cheap and use one for my smalls, 1/32 and smaller. I have one that I just made a flat layer in for bigger bucktails and such. Plano makes a mid size box with no dividers that I used 2 of for my bigger stuff from 1/16 up. A slicing knife, long straight edge and a rounded tip, made the job easy to keep the cuts straight. Razors or new utility knife blades cut the stuff like butter.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Check in the school supplies, alot of cheap items around this time. The noodle instructions are here ---> http://www.crappie.com/crappie/archi...tied-jigs.html
Got the boxes in the school supplies dept.... I'm cutting the noodles with an electric knife. You can use a razor knife if you heat the blade with a torch.
