I'd be ok catching them this size on a soldered hook to spoon and use the spoon eye.

Only fish boated tonight was rough as heck and I spent 30 min pulling a fella fisherman back to the dock.

I don't feel comfortable trusting solder to catch a fish that can bend a 5/o stainless heavy jig hook.:D
