Try that pattern in a brown with black tail. It resembles a sculpin. Great looking bait you tied. I hope to get that good and creative one day.

I tried one with some bucktail and black marabou.

I like the bucktail jig, looks great. That jig will look good with an orange head too.

I'll let y'all know if it works. I'm gonna get some rabbit zonkers and try that with one. It might just be ugly enough to scare em to the surface so I can just net em.
